Parking Services is committed to providing The College of New Jersey campus community with efficient customer service and the best possible solutions to meet your transportation needs. This site will help you find the information you need to make parking on campus easier.
Parking Services and Campus Police would like to remind all faculty, staff, and students that they are required to park in the lot(s) to which they are assigned at all times. Parking in a lot or space without proper decal or pass can result in ticketing and/or towing.
Please be reminded that a parking lot gate in the raised position is not an indication that parking is permitted. Also, the use of hazard lights or flashers does not authorize parking in front of a building or in any designated space.
As of February 19, 2020
UPDATE: End-of-Semester Commuter/Visitor Lot Ticketing
Ticketing for “lack of valid decal” only will be suspended in the designated commuter/visitor lot(s) starting in early May. The date will be announced shortly.
**Please note** – If you have a 2019-2020 academic year parking decal, you are to continue parking in your assigned parking lot during this time.
Ordering 2019-2020 Student Decals
2019-2020 parking decals will be available for purchase online through “CARS.” Parking decals ordered online will be available for pick up in The Office of Student Accounts, Green Hall 119 (Mon-Fri 8:30am – 4:30pm). Online orders are filled within 48 hours (2 business days).
Ordering Faculty/Staff Decals
Employee parking decal ordering is available at all times. Click the “CARS login” on the right side of the web page.
Contingent worker decals expire on September 30th each year. To renew each September, please visit Parking Services with your valid vehicle registration and college / government issued ID.
The college has a web-based parking system called Campus Automobile Registration System (CARS). This system allows students, faculty, and staff to order decals online, print out a temporary dashboard permit so you will automatically have a valid permit, as well as monitor and/or appeal parking citations.
A training video on how to use CARS can be found here: Ordering Decal Demonstration
