Parking Services is committed to providing The College of New Jersey campus community with efficient customer service and the best possible solutions to meet your transportation needs. This site will help you find the information you need to make parking on campus easier.
Parking Services and Campus Police would like to remind all faculty, staff, and students that they are required to park in the lot(s) to which they are assigned at all times. Parking in a lot or space without proper decal or pass can result in ticketing and/or towing.
Please also be reminded that an upraised parking gate is not an indication that parking is permitted and the use of hazard lights or flashers does not authorize parking in front of a building or in any designated space.
As of April 19, 2018
End of Semester – Spring 2018 Ticketing Suspension
Ticketing suspension for “lack of valid decal” will begin in all student and visitor lots starting 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018. All other parking offenses not related to “lack of valid decal” will continue to be enforced and Campus Police will be patrolling all lots.
In preparation for Funival on Friday, May 4, 2018, Lot #5 will be closed from Wednesday, May 2nd through Friday, May 4th. Lot #4 will be closed on Friday, May 4th only. Additional parking for faculty/staff will be available in Lot #3 and Lot #7 on Friday.
Ordering Spring 2018 Student Decals
2018-2019 parking decals will be available for purchase online through CARS starting late July 2018. Students will receive an email from Parking Services once the online ordering form is available.
Ordering Faculty/Staff Decals
Employee parking decal ordering is available online at all times. Click the “CARS login” link on the right side of the web page.
**Please note: Contingent worker decals expire on September 30th each year.
The college has a web-based parking system called Campus Automobile Registration System (CARS). This system allows students, faculty, and staff to order decals online, print out a temporary dashboard permit so you will automatically have a valid permit, as well as monitor and/or appeal parking citations.
A training video on how to use CARS can be found here: Ordering Decal Demonstration
