Suspension of Ticketing in Student Parking Lots – Effective May 9, 2025 at 5:00pm
Starting Friday, May 9, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., ticketing for “lack of valid permit only” will be suspended for the summer in student parking lots only (lots 5, 6, 7, 11, 13, 17). Parking in faculty/staff lots during this time is not permitted. All other parking regulations will be enforced and violations will be ticketed. Ticketing for “lack of valid permit only” will resume with the start of the Fall 2025 semester.
Ordering Student Parking Permits
Fall 2025 parking permits will be available in August 2025. A campus wide email will be sent with instructions when ordering of permits is available.
Please note: Only ONE annual permit or TWO semester only permits (one for Fall, one for Spring) can be ordered per academic year. After ordering your permit, if you switch cars or there is a change to your residency status resulting in your need for a different permit, please notify Parking Services to arrange for an exchange of your original permit.

The College offers 10 electric vehicle charging stations in the Metzger Garage, Lot 7. These are available to those members of the campus community. For further information, please visit https://evcharging.tcnj.edu/
Vehicles parked in a campus parking lot that has been closed by the college for a dedicated reason are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.

Parking Services and Campus Police would like to remind all faculty, staff, and students that they are required to park in the lot(s) to which they are assigned at all times. Parking in a lot or space without proper permit can result in ticketing and/or towing.
Please be reminded that a parking lot gate in the raised position is not an indication that parking is permitted. Also, the use of hazard lights or flashers does not authorize parking in front of a building or in any designated space.
Parking System
The college has a web-based parking system called Campus Automobile Registration System (CARS). This system allows students, faculty, and staff to order decals online, print out a temporary dashboard permit so you will automatically have a valid permit, as well as monitor and/or appeal parking citations.
